One year anniversary continue

We stayed at Skamania Lodge for our one year anniversary. It was beautiful. They upgraded our room to a fireplace and a view of the water. It was absolutely incredible. Kilo planned our anniversary and did a fantastic job. He made my heart very happy! We took a picture in the elevator on our honeymoon so we decided to do the same on our one year.
My husband hearting me, I love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My look of seduction..........or hunger
We ate dinner at the Lodge's really nice restaurant. The food was spectacular! They brought us this adorable dessert which was delicious and truly hit the spot!

My body is a temple inside and out

I have recently taken on a new lifestyle choice and completely changed my eating. I still enjoy the "bad" foods but have switched to clean eating and lost 25 lbs doing so! I was a tight 14 and now I am wearing size 6-8 pants depending on the brand and still shrinking! Well when you change everything you know about food it becomes hard to cook. Seriously feel like we rotate through a total of 6 MAYBE 8 recipes/meals and we have both become very bored with them. It is so easy to find website with yummy recipes, but not so easy to find them with healthy, clean or good for your body recipes that actually appeal to me. I guess I should point out that I am a picly eater so for someone to suggest for me to eat fish all the time makes me want to gag! I know it is healthy for me, but give me a break! I like REAL meat! I came across the gracious pantry website and feel like I am in heaven! It is a lady trying to change her eating and not always being quite perfect at it. I have created my next weeks menu off of this site and cannot wait to tell you all whether they are actually yummy recipes! I feel like they are something I can do though! If you are trying to get healthy, for whatever reason, check this out and let me know some of your favorites! She also has info on what clean eating is if you are a little confused. http://www.thegraciouspantry.com/ I also use the product body evolution to help me get my six small meals in and love the product! It was introduced to me by a girl a know whose father had lots of success with it. I am proud to say that I also have found lots of success from it! Great product that I would recommend to anyone! If you have any questions about it let me know! Especially what flavors are any good or not. http://www.thebodyevolution.com/ Hope you all find health, happiness, and success in whatever your fitness goals are!

Easter Sunday

So much to blog about! I have not updated for quite sometimenow because I have been busy out living life instead. I really am not acomputer person. I think I am too much of a busy body to sit down for two seconds and blog, but here is my attempt. It will most likely get split into sections so that I can get other things done along the way. Plus I want to keep you on the edge of your seat...bwahahaha!!! !Easter with my husband was fantastic! We got each other baskets with some goodies inside of them. We hid them for each other the night before then got up and searched for them just like when we were kids. It is fun to establish traditions now that we plan to keep going with our children. What did you find honey?? Big Smile! He is so excited about his basket! Makes me smile!!!
My turn to look (keep in mind it was first thing in the morning so there is no makeup yet)
I am so proud of myself for finding it! Yay!
It was a good Easter basket find but the best part of Easter was definitely speaking in church that day. We of course were asked to speak on the Atonement, so we both got the opportunity to study the sacrifice of our Savior and speak about it. It was incredible. We absolutely truly love our ward and feel so blessed to be a part of such a strong group of people.

I miss........

I have made many new friends since moving to Washougal and I love and adore every single one of them! They bring me such joy and I feel so blessed to have them in my life! For some reason though, I find myself often missing people of my past. I am not a perfect friend, and I make MANY mistakes often. It is why I have lost so many friends during this past year. Oddly enough, I care. Among me being a bad friend, they also have done and said horrible things. I should not care so much about freindships that have hurt both sides so much, but I do. I still wonder how they are. I still think about what directions their lives are taking them. I still hope for them to find happiness and success in everything. So to all my friends of the past, know that I still care and always will. To my current friends and friends of the future please be patient with my failings, love me inspite of my imperfections, and teach me how to be better. Do not give up on me. Help me to to be there for you. Talk to me. Listen to me. Most of all don't give up on me I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

Moving..........again

Do you ever feel like you care more then others? Do you ever feel like relationships in your life are one sided? I definitely felt the exact opposite of that last night when my girls from church found out that I would be moving out of the ward. They are all so incredible and amazing and they are all working so hard to find us somewhere in the ward to rent so that we will not have to leave the ward! It was the sweetest feeling in the world to have people care so much about us! I really have learned to love this ward and I will miss it terribly! Last night we got the call that we have been dreading....the house we are living in is going to auction and it is time for the next move. We have to be out Saturday...YIKES!! Thank goodness for amazing friends that are ready to roll up their sleeves and jump in and help us in any way we need!! We love you all!!! I hope that any and all of our friends know that we would do the same for them and never feel like the relationship is one sided! Ever! We have been told that the new location might only be for a month....serious? Go to RMLS.com and search under the number 10077334. This is our temporary home.

These are memories not to be forgotten!

Oh my heck this weekend has been such a BLAST!! It started off with me teaching my Friday night Zumba class. Kilo also worked late that night so when I got off and still had a 30 min drive home I figured that Kilo would beat me home. I wanted to take him to a movie that night but the one that I wanted to take him to started at 8:15 and we did not get off early enough. So I decided to make our own "date night" right in the comfort of our own home. Kilo loves Subway so I stopped there on the way home to grab some sandwiches, swung by to get some small ice creams from DQ and headed home. I set up a picnic in our bonus room and we ate, talked about our day, and played games. It was so simple and yet so very fun!

We Played Skip Bo and he thought he was winning........

Not a chance! I am the queen of skip bo!! I definitely won!

We also played Blink (given to us for our wedding from our good friend Cammie) and speed, then finished the night playing Twister(present from our sister Rashae for Christmas). So fun!

We really goofed off and just had some super fun that night!

Saturday morning we got up and watched General Conference where the leaders of the church I belong to speak to whole the whole church over a world wide broadcast. It happens 4 times over the weekend, plus a special one just for the men.

I taught my Saturday Zumba class. I am really loving all my classes that I teach right now so of course that was super fun!

Kilo then took me on a beautiful hike! There were tons of fun trails and we cannot wait to go back and hike more of them. It was extremely muddy which made it even more fun trying not to make the hills into mud slides!

These stumps reminded me of the movie Fern Gully! I wanted to jump on them! Kilo thought it was ridiculous. LOL

He was so proud that he made it to the top! King of the world!!!!

I think that Kilo and I are such a good looking couple and I love taking pics of us! He definitely helps make up for where I lack!

After our hike Kilo went to the priesthood session of General Conference and I went to a dance recital with my friend Brittania. The dancers were extremely talented and it made me so happy to watch! Afterwards we met up with our husbands for some dinner. Yum!

Kilo and I at dinner, me getting in trouble I thinkJustin and Brittania
( I think I need to start warning them I am taking pics)
Brittania and I trying to have crazy hair,Brittanias was much better lol
On Sunday we went over and spent the day with the Harpers. They are such a fun family! We played conference Bingo and got covered in stickers by the boys. Cole drew some eyes on colored sticker dots so that Kilo could fall asleep and no one would know.
I am pretty sure that Kilo ADORED hanging out with these boys! He is so great with kids!
This is him with the second oldest Dallin
How could you not adore these faces?! Tory and Cole
Cole put this sign on Kilo's shirt towards the end of the session and I swear he did not take it off all day and would have slept with it on if it would have endured. He felt so special.

In between the two sessions we went to the Barnes home for a big brunch. There was tonz of delicious food and loads of people to get to know which was so fun!

I was Tory's sticker book LOL Cole gave me "four eyes"
Tory and I covered in stickers!
It was such a great weekend and I had so much fun spending time with my eternal companion as well as other people! I have such a rich and full life, and I could not ask for more!

One busy girl=ME!!!

Life has been so crazy lately! Three Sundays ago we had the missionaries in our home for dinner. It was so great to feel that missionary excitement again! Kilo was able to give them some ties from his mission which is always fun for him, especially since he came home with over 200 ties! I think he can spare a few! We had a new couple over for games and dinner at our house the weekend before that. We played Blokus 3D. It was a blast and I totally creamed all three of them all 4 rounds that we played! I seriously loved that game! Kilo and I went to our Ward temple night with the same couple. We really enjoy spending time with them. It is always nice to go to the Temple plus it gave us a chance to get to know more of our Ward members. We went with a few of the members after to a place called Claim Jumpers. Oh my heck the food was so super amazing. I had the BBQ chicken salad and Kilo had the tri-tip. We were both very pleased with our food. It is my favorite place to eat in Portland so far. They do not have my favorite Utah places(Bajio, Chilis, Goodwood, or Kurts) around here so we have been on the search for somewhere amazing. Definitely found it. We took our best friends Kelsie and Chace there last weekend and they really liked it as well except that our waiter was aweful!! Last weekend we also played some new games as Kelsie and Chaces house that were extremely fun! We played Dicecapades(not sure how to spell it) and Smart A$$(keeping it G rated) They were both extremely fun games! I went to a relief society cooking night where they made "green smoothies" which is the best invention since sliced bread for someone like me who HATES veggies! I really need a Vitamix!! Maybe for Christmas...yes I really do start planning these things this far in advance. I stopped teaching two of my classes in good old PDX and started two new classes in Camas which is only a two minute drive from my house. So nice! I went to Grease sig along with my good friend Brittania as a girls night. We had so much fun and laughed so hard! I got some pics of that night but have failed at getting pics of anything else sadly! I really need to start taking pictures more often! Here they are!

We were both exhausted by the end of the show from all the singing!!

So we tried to keep our eyes open....Brittania was struggling with that!

That looks much better!!

The last thing, and probably the biggest reason for my lack of blogging is because of my focus on my weight loss!! Between enjoying extra time with Kilo by waking up early to go to the gym and teaching so many Zumba classes I have lost a total of 17 lbs and counting and gone from a size 12 to buying a size 7 this weekend!! I am so excited for my success and cannot wait to go to Utah and show my family!! Here is small sneak peak though it is not the most up to date pic it is of my smaller! Either way I am so happy!

I will do a comparison of before and after!

Before: After:

The before pic is of Christmas 2010 and the second is March 2011. I feel really happy withmy succes and feel so much better these days taking care of my body! I love clean eating! I still have a little to go but know I have the power and strength to do it! Headed to the gym now so see ya!
