Homecoming!!

Alright this one is for you! I promised a post tonight so here it is! I did not promise, however, that it would be amazing lol!

I got the chance to help make a few of our young women in our ward get dressed up like princesses for homecoming. They are all too young to go with boy so they were going with just a group of girls! FUN!! We had a group of us leaders curling, hairspraying, pinning, painting, and all sorts of other things to get the girls ready. Here are the transformations in action:

Loved her hair!! Looks like a perfect wig from the back, but a gorgeous one!

NEXT!

Turned out gorgeous, they had pictures of what they wanted and luckily it all turned out!

LAST ONE!!

Onto makeup!

The finished princesses!! They looked so beautiful aandmodest! So proud of these girls for knowing their standards and sticking with them!

The girls wanted a pic with their hair and makeup artists, hard to feel good in a picture standing next to three girls gussied up, but of course Natalie T pulled it off, you go girl! I on the other hand....

They left and met up with the other girls for dinner and more pics

They looked like they had fun, but we were not going to let them be the only ones! So we played dress up with the girls who stayed home from thedance that night and made them feel like princesses as well!

Such a fun night to get dolled up! Man I love being so involved with the youth, and such incredible youth at that. Man am I lucky!! Every girl deserves to fell like a princess at some point in their lives!

Creative......or not

I don't know why but I really wanted to make cupcakes for halloween and wanted to try and be creative with them. I thought they turned out really cute and I was so proud of them...I sen them to work with Kilo so that I was not tempted because we ended up with way too many! I did try one before I sent them with him....I had to be on poison control! Dont judge.

I ran out of orange icing so I had to improvise, that did not seem to deter his coworkers

Sorry the pics are so fuzzy, but you get the idea

A couple of nights ago I went to a cake decorating class. I am determined to not let cakes get the best of me! I cannot believe I struggle so much with making a stinking cake! The instructor was fantastic and gave us her recipe for her delicious frosting! Yum!

Spread it and smooth it out! Looking good ladies!

Amy and Sarah! Adorable! They both ended up with incredible cakes!

They all looked very concerned about something. I am not sure what is going on here, but I know Shana wasover on that side of the room.....
No worries ladies my cake turned out! Well as good as it gets for a first class! Thanks Linda! Can't wait for some one on one cake classes!
The cake tasted INCREDIBLE btw!!

Fun with friends

A little bit of back tracking. Last month we decided to go to the beach with some friends. Well the Oregon beach is definitely nothing like the California beach to of course we ended up in scarves and hats and all sorts of bundled up but man was it fun anyway!!

I am not sure who was more excited, Jessie.....

Freckles......

or Kilo!!!

Definitely had to have been Meg and Paprika!!! Look at their excitement!! Not sure what was going on here.....bahahaha love these two!

Definitely not keeping Jessie out of the sand, he is destined to someday live on the beach!

And this man is destined to someday be a daddy, but for now we will just enjoy others kids! They are fun enough for now!

Oh how cute, the adorable newlyweds!!!! <3

Meg and herkids! Great pic of them honestly!

The girls!!! We had a blast!!! Well at least I did!

Jessie and Justin have a man to man, or just Jessie being tired and Justin stepping up and helping his tired legs out!

Kilo loves me at my best and at my worst, thank goodness!!!

A couple weeks after we went out of town with our friends Kelsie and Chace. They had tickets to a concert and we went to just tag along. It was a lot of fun! Trying to get a pic with Kels proved to be difficult. She was being camera shy!! hiding in my chest?

Beautiful smiling faces!

Claire was definitely not camera shy!! She loved having her picture taken! We all went out to dinner and then Chace and Kelsie went to the concert while Kilo and I hung out with Claire. It was a very fun experience and really got me excited to have a child with this amazing man!

She loved her bath time! Seriously was all about splashing the water til it came time to put it on her head....she was not a fan of that!!

after the bath she got to hangout with uncle Kilo and even got to jump on the bed! Hey we are the Aunt and Uncle, we get to spoil right?

I freaking love this childs huge smile!! She is so much fun!!! Now my husband needs to apparently take some lessons from her so he can avoid looking drunk in the background.... oh my!

Look at that grin!!!! I love it!!! She must get it from her beautiful mother cuz they both are smiling so happy! Adorable pic of the cute little restaurant that was next to thehotelt we stayed in, FUN!!

This was the gorgeous view as we were coming home the next morning, I seriously live in one of the most gorgeous places ever!! I absolutely love Washington/Oregon!! Ya I could stay here forever!

6 moths ago we became friends with an amazing family that has completely changed our experience here in Washougal. I know it was 6 months ago because it was for the April General Conference. We got the blessing of going to their house again for the October General Conference! We love going over there! Kilo got to be Tory's sticker book this time!

Tory and I got to draw some pictures, he is concentrating very hard I think

Say cheese!!!

In between the two sessions we needed to release some energy so they pulled out these little toy scooter bike things, not really sure the name of them. they were actually extremely fun! We were supposed to go on a walk but in true Washington fashion, it was raining

Kilo and Cole were racing, I think Kilo lost

Then it stopped raining so we went on a walk. When we got back Kilo helped Bram with some homework. I have got a very smart husband of whom I need to convince to get himself backinto school.... but for now he can just help others with his smarts. I know who will be helping our children with homework!

Getting our Bingo cards ready and finishing up lunch

After the second session finished we played the game psychiatrist, it was loads of fun!

We decided that whomever was the psychiatrist needed to dress up to play the part, did I mention I LOVE HALLOWEEN and the excuseto be silly?

Dallin definitely looks crazy like a psychiatrist! bahahahaha

Justin brought his trusty steed to help him cure us!

Kilo was not ever the psychiatrist but got dressed up anyway

Cole and Tory were loving playing dress up!

A very fun night with great friends of course! We love the opportunity to spend time with people we love and adore and these three different events are just a glimpse into the many many blessings we enjoy living here in Washington! Life is good and our Heavenly Father is great to us!
