One busy girl=ME!!!

Life has been so crazy lately! Three Sundays ago we had the missionaries in our home for dinner. It was so great to feel that missionary excitement again! Kilo was able to give them some ties from his mission which is always fun for him, especially since he came home with over 200 ties! I think he can spare a few! We had a new couple over for games and dinner at our house the weekend before that. We played Blokus 3D. It was a blast and I totally creamed all three of them all 4 rounds that we played! I seriously loved that game! Kilo and I went to our Ward temple night with the same couple. We really enjoy spending time with them. It is always nice to go to the Temple plus it gave us a chance to get to know more of our Ward members. We went with a few of the members after to a place called Claim Jumpers. Oh my heck the food was so super amazing. I had the BBQ chicken salad and Kilo had the tri-tip. We were both very pleased with our food. It is my favorite place to eat in Portland so far. They do not have my favorite Utah places(Bajio, Chilis, Goodwood, or Kurts) around here so we have been on the search for somewhere amazing. Definitely found it. We took our best friends Kelsie and Chace there last weekend and they really liked it as well except that our waiter was aweful!! Last weekend we also played some new games as Kelsie and Chaces house that were extremely fun! We played Dicecapades(not sure how to spell it) and Smart A$$(keeping it G rated) They were both extremely fun games! I went to a relief society cooking night where they made "green smoothies" which is the best invention since sliced bread for someone like me who HATES veggies! I really need a Vitamix!! Maybe for Christmas...yes I really do start planning these things this far in advance. I stopped teaching two of my classes in good old PDX and started two new classes in Camas which is only a two minute drive from my house. So nice! I went to Grease sig along with my good friend Brittania as a girls night. We had so much fun and laughed so hard! I got some pics of that night but have failed at getting pics of anything else sadly! I really need to start taking pictures more often! Here they are!

We were both exhausted by the end of the show from all the singing!!

So we tried to keep our eyes open....Brittania was struggling with that!

That looks much better!!

The last thing, and probably the biggest reason for my lack of blogging is because of my focus on my weight loss!! Between enjoying extra time with Kilo by waking up early to go to the gym and teaching so many Zumba classes I have lost a total of 17 lbs and counting and gone from a size 12 to buying a size 7 this weekend!! I am so excited for my success and cannot wait to go to Utah and show my family!! Here is small sneak peak though it is not the most up to date pic it is of my smaller! Either way I am so happy!

I will do a comparison of before and after!

Before: After:

The before pic is of Christmas 2010 and the second is March 2011. I feel really happy withmy succes and feel so much better these days taking care of my body! I love clean eating! I still have a little to go but know I have the power and strength to do it! Headed to the gym now so see ya!

Trying this again

I have tried to become a part of the blogging world a couple of times now, and have gracefully bowed out a couple of times now. Well I must be glutten for punishment because here I am again...Yikes!! My sister came into town this past week and it was a blast!! She arrived on Tues morning after her very first plain ride! Besides being a little queezy she endured like a champ. We went hiking, got snowed in, went to the beach and froze our bums off, went to The Grotto, to Astoria, she came to one of my Zumba classes, brought Aunt Flow into town with her, and just had a blast!! Here are some pics

She is so funny!!

We went to a place called the Grotto. It was really neat to gain a respect and understanding for other religions. More for my sis then for me I think. She has not experienced outside of Utah and other religions as I have. We went to the most adorable antique shops in Camas, Vancouver, and Portland! We found some great finds and had so much fun taking a walk down memory lane.

Froze on the beach!! We enjoyed it for about two seconds and that was it. Sad really but there it is. (Side note, we almost died on the way to the beach driving through a trecherous canyon. The snow in Oregon really is much worse then I have ever experienced.)

Straight up 164 twirly stairs to the top of the column....we made it!!!

This was the view at the top..totally worth it

Me and my prince charming trying to stay warm

Say cheese! I think Winnie is exhausted from the stairs!!

Time to say goodbye! Love you sis and I can't wait to see you again!
